At Parkmed NYC we accept Medicaid and most insurances. Many people ask “Will my insurance plan cover a telehealth visit?”​, most insurance plans cover telehealth, also known as “telemedicine visits”.  We are happy to help contact your insurance on your behalf. At Parkmed NYC, we go out of our way to ensure that you are able to use ALL of the benefits you are entitled to under your insurance.  

Gynecology is essential healthcare at Parkmed NYC. To ensure the safety of our patients we have taken the necessary precautions to reduce contact with others. We now offer Telehealth appointments for gynecology services. We will connect you with a Board Certified experienced physician from the comfort of your own home.

What is a telehealth visit?​

Telehealth is like an office visit, only instead of traveling to see us you can phone or video conference with our board certified doctors from the privacy of your own home. This is sometimes referred to as video visits or telemedicine. Our doctors can assess symptoms, make a diagnosis, recommend treatment, and send prescriptions electronically to your pharmacy.

What do you need to do participate in a telehealth visit?​

For the video call meeting you will need a device, such as a smartphone or a computer, with internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone.

We are excited to announce that patients can now quickly and easily connect to their video visit directly from a text message.

No download or login required.

Patients can connect in 3 easy steps from their phone:

1. Patient opens the email or text and clicks on the link provided. (Contact us to receive your link.)

2. Patient fills out and submits the questionnaire and vitals.

3. Start the video visit!

Will my insurance plan cover a telehealth visit?​

Most insurance plans cover telehealth, also known as “telemedicine visits”.  We are happy to assist in contacting your insurance on your behalf. At Parkmed NYC, we go out of our way to ensure that you are able to use ALL of the benefits you are entitled to under your insurance (we accept Medicaid and most insurances).  Please call (332) 334-7826 and ask for more information.  We have implemented a system for minimal contact, available pickup, all while promoting social distancing.
